Coordinate Plane Kit

Lesson Intentions: Ability to identify and use the following terminology: X-axis, Y-axis, origin, ordered pairs, map coordinates, and quadrants. Your child/students will learn to identify and graph coordinate pairs, locate and map coordinates, and become more comfortable working with negative and positive numbers.

Ages: 3rd through 7th

Materials included in lesson kit: Illustrated lesson plan, laminated map labels; 4 laminated flags; laminated coordinate plane to practice on; laminated map; dry-erase marker; and 8 days of coordinate plane work that can be used multiple times.
