Poetry Kit

Ages: Elementary to Middle School

Lesson Intentions: This kit will provide your child/student activities to understand and create the following types of poems: Diamante, Simile, Haiku, Limerick, Acrostic, Metaphors, Hink pinks, Hyperbole, Onomatopoeia, Personification, Idioms, Proverbs, Sonnets, Free Verse, and Narrative Poetry

Kit Includes: Twenty-one different activities (38 pages including worksheets and answer sheet) and a journal. This kit can be purchased with or without the slightly used hardback book, "Daniel Finds a Poem".
