Frogs and Amphibians Kit
Lesson Intentions: This kit will provide your child/student hand-on activities to understand and learn about the parts of a frog and what amphibian means. This kit will help build your child’s/student’s vocabulary awareness and visual discrimination.
Kit Includes: Illustrated lesson plan with four different activities (8 pages including worksheets); “Tadpole to Frog, Animals Grow Up,” story book; laminated five-part frog matching cards; laminated frog sequence cards; frog sequence picture cards (eggs, young tadpole, tadpole with developed hind legs, tadpoles with all legs, and adult frog); full size laminated frog picture; 3 copies of “parts of a frog” worksheets (1 color and 2 black and white to color, you are allowed to make extra copies of these); 4 “parts of a frog” mini color sheets (for your child/student to make their own “parts of” booklets); frog color page; an animal report template; a pencil sharpener; and color pencils. Optional purchase: sequence objects.
