Honeybee’s and Insect Kit 

Lesson Intentions: This kit will provide your child/student hands-on activities to understand and learn about the parts of a honeybee and become more familiar with insect facts. This kit will help build your child’s/student’s vocabulary awareness and visual discrimination.

Kit Includes: Illustrated lesson plan; “The Honey Makers,” by Gail Gibbons storybook; 10 laminated tree parts definition cards; 10 laminated honeybee labels; a small bee house; a set of paints; a paintbrush; 1 honeybee color sheet (you may copy); 1 honeybee parts worksheet (you may make extra copies); a honeybee fact sheet; an insects fact sheet; an animal report template; a piece of bees wax with a wick to make a mini candle; and a box of 8 crayons.
