Place Value, Addition, and Subtraction Kit, Numbers through the thousands

 This Kit Includes: Illustrated lesson plan to present children/students with concepts and materials on place value, addition, and subtraction; activities; 4 sets of bead bars (1-9); 1 golden ten bar; a counter; a yellow place value work mat; a journal; addition sign; subtraction sign; 2 equals sign; a box of colored pencils; 2 sets of number cards (units through thousands); and an answer key.

Lesson Intentions: This kit will guide your child/student in understanding and applying the following concepts:  place value, representing numbers, comparing and rounding numbers, number composition, and operations in addition (with and without carrying) and subtraction (with and without borrowing) through the thousands.

The lessons and follow up activity worksheets come in a folder for easy storage. The materials come in a labeled box that is easy to store on a work shelf for your child or student. This educational kit was made with love by a certified Montessori teacher of 18 years. I am certified in Early Childhood Education (preschool and Kindergarten), Elementary Education I (grades 1st to 3rd), and Elementary Education II (grades 4th to 6th). I have worked as a lead teacher in all the above grades, Montessori teacher trainer, dance director, and Parent Education director.
