Starfish Kit Lesson Intentions: This kit will provide your child/student hands-on activities to understand and learn about the parts of a starfish. This kit will help build your child’s/student’s vocabulary awareness and visual discrimination. 

Kit Includes: Illustrated lesson plan; “Starfish,” story book by, Edith Thacher Hurd; starfish fact sheet; laminated starfish definition cards; full size laminated painted starfish picture; a black and white copy of “parts of a starfish” worksheet (you can make extra copies of these); an animal report template; a pencil sharpener; a mini starfish; a dry erase pen; and colored pencils.
