Numbers into the Millions
Ages: 3rd grade to 5th grade
Lesson Intentions: This kit will guide your child/student in understanding and applying the following concepts: Place value review for numbers through the millions, number composition review of numbers through millions, and the following operations: multiplication (with carrying) and division (with and without remainders) through the millions.
Kit Includes: Illustrated lesson plan, 5 sets of bead bars (1-9), 1 golden ten bar, a counter, a blue place value work mat, a journal, multiplication sign, division sign, 2 equals sign, 2 sets of number cards (units through nine million), 3 test tubes with 10 green beads in each, 3 test tubes with 10 red beads in each, 3 test tubes with 10 blue beads in each, a yellow ribbon, 5 small ramekins, 5 red counters, colored pencils (red, blue, dark green, and light green), a “0” card, and an answer key.
