This Sentence Analysis kit (42 pages of work) covers the proper sequence of sentence analysis for grades fourth through sixth (Some of the activities can be done as early as first grade). It includes work on one subject and one predicate; two subjects and one predicate; two subjects and two predicates; one subject, one predicate and one direct object; two subjects, one predicate, and one direct object; two subjects, one predicate, and two direct objects one subject, one predicate, one direct object, and one indirect object; the following adverbial modifiers: time, place, cause, manner, purpose, source, accompaniment, and instrument; subject compliments: predicate nominatives and predicate adjectives; appositives; attributive adjectives; and complements of specification.

This kit includes a wooden set of sentence analysis pieces to be used in analyzing sentences (22 pieces), a journal, 38 days of work, a pair of scissors, and an answer sheet. There are illustrations so you can help your child or student with the work if needed.
