Session 1 begins on Tuesday, January 7th and will continue for three Tuesdays (1/7, 1/14, and 1/21). During session 1, we will complete the following paintings: the optimistic owl, the little red sailboat, and the amazing abstract (see sample paintings). There will be two different times available and limited spots. Session 1a will be at 3:30PM, EST and session 1b will be at 6:30PM, EST. Pick which session you want on the drop-down menu.

Session 2 begins on Tuesday, January 28th and will continue for three Tuesdays (1/28, 2/4, and 2/11). Session 2 paintings will include the colorful cactus, the beautiful butterfly, and the calico crab. Session 2a will be at 3:30PM, EST and session 2b will be at 6:00PM, EST.

you step-by-step in creating stunning artwork. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist, you’ll learn fun techniques and have fun in our supportive virtual painting workshop. You must include your email on your order to be able to receive the protected zoom link and password. You cannot share the link, because only the purchasing customer will be let in to the zoom session. If you have multiple students at home, you must purchase a kit for each. We will have a monitor during the workshop to make sure only the purchasing student(s) is/are on the zoom. The parent/teacher is permitted
to help set up the camera. If you have multiple students/children, you need to make sure the camera is set up so that we can see their canvas to assist them.

ABC Crate is very excited to broaden our virtual workshops to include painting classes for kids. Caroline has observed Marianne on a professional level in various schools as well as through a personal level when my daughter was younger in classes and camps.

Discover Your Palette for Kidz offers after school painting classes to kids in grades
K-8! Your child does not need ANY artistic talent or experience. We help children unveil their inner artist by joining us on this virtual experience, one day a week for
1 1/2 to 2 hours in a 3-week session.

Each Kit Includes: illustrated directions on set up in a folder; any hand-outs such as fact sheets on animals, a set of paints (2 ounces of each: blue, red, orange, yellow, green, brown, black, and white), a #4 round paint brush, a #12 round paint brush; a 9 1/2" x 16" wooden paint easel, three genuine acid-free Practica 12" x 16" canvases, a reusable plastic 6.7" x 3.5" paint palette, and a reusable skin-friendly colorful apron (colors vary in each kit). Bonus item: Your child/student gets to be part of ABC Crate Charm Club! They will receive a collector charm themed with each painting that they can add to their wooden easel. We will provide the Velcro to be able to attach the charm. What you will need in addition: a cup to fill with water, water, paper towels, and a table cover.

Marianne graduated from The Art Institute of Philadelphia. She is a graphic designer with more than 30+ years of experience. Her passion has been teaching and creating art with elementary age students. Marianne launched Discover Your Palette in 2010 working with adults at local Vineyards. In 2013 “Discover Your Palette for Kidz” (DYPK) was born. For the past 11 years Marianne has worked with more than 25 local schools creating an after-school painting program. DYPK has become popular with the students and parents that we almost sell out every class.

Caroline graduated from The University of Delaware. She has been a certified Montessori teacher of 18 plus years, who is certified in Early Childhood Education (preschool and Kindergarten), Elementary Education I (grades 1st to 3rd), and Elementary Education II (grades 4th to 6th). Caroline opened ABC Crate, LLC to spread the joys of Montessori lessons and philosophies with all who seek wonderful lessons and educational experiences for their little and not so little ones. With 25 plus years
as a parent educator, she has worked with hundreds of families to create beautiful homeschool spaces as well as secondary learning environments for families that have children in public or private schools.
